# Icon Studio — source package

This download contains the locally installed Icon Studio application source and its existing built UI. It is not a standalone Windows or Mac installer.

## Developer setup

1. Extract the ZIP. Keep `Icon Studio.py` beside `_IconStudio`.
2. Install a current Node.js runtime and Electron for your development environment. In `_IconStudio`, install Electron (`npm install --save-dev electron`) and launch the source with `npx electron .`.
3. For the Resolve connector, place the launcher and `_IconStudio` in Resolve's per-user Fusion/Scripts/Utility directory. Run the launcher from Resolve. Review `bridge.py.txt` and the application entry point for platform integration.
4. Enable Resolve local scripting access and test with a copy of a project.

The package includes icon-library license notices in `library/LICENSES.txt`, plus notices under `ui/licenses`. Preserve them. Optional model assets are included for local background removal. No cloud AI service is required for the core asset workflow.
